An April fool from the Google
Google adds Snake game to Maps apps for April Fool’s Day gag.
The company says that the game is rolling out now to iOS and Android users globally today on the date of 1/04/2019. and that it’ll remain on the app for the rest of the week. It also launched a standalone site to play the game if you don’t have the app.
Google has also created a web site for that will offer the game on desktop pc and laptops. Think of this more as a long-lasting treat that just happened to launch at the start of April.
Here, There is no actual snake in the snake game this time, instead of that you play snake as a public transport vehicle, like a Tokyo bullet train, San Francisco cable car or a London double decker bus, and pickup passengers on an 8-bit map of their respective cities.
You can find the game in the menu of the Maps app. you Just have to touch the sidebar option on the left side of the search bar and you’ll see the “Play Snake” option.
The company has added Snake game to Google Maps that lets you play the classic title themed around major cities which are,
- São Paulo
- San Francisco
There’s also world option is given in these game, where you pick up passengers from all over the map.
the feature will only be available through the menu in Google Maps’ Android and iOS apps for “about a week.”
